| So, you want more do you?? | |||
|
Patience they say, is a virtue. So is that why you’ve had to wait so long foro us to start work on another album?? No, it’s because we’re lazy. But the time has come – the Red Bull is kicking in and Richard has finally decided to read the manual for his recording equipment (now I’ve never heard it called that before!). Yes, we are working on another CD to be released towards the end of this year (hopefully in time for some of our outdoor gigs). We have decided to take a different route on recording this album. ‘The Full English’ was OK, but lacked a lot of the dynamics and feel of a real live gig. What we want to capture for this CD is the ‘feel’ of a live gig with a real live audience. And how do you do that? Make a live recording at a gig with a real live audience silly! Recording has already started and we have some promising material from some of our gigs already. So watch what you shout out about Stuarts pants the next time you’re at one of our gigs – it could make it onto the album (and into Stuarts strange collection of ‘shouting’ recordings he has collected over the years - many are taken from busy streets, parks, ladies changing rooms etc.)

Have you got The Full English at home? Ever studied the front cover for a while? If the answers to both of these questions are yes, then you should really get out more. More to the point, you should also have noticed that things arent quite what they seem! Go to our photo galleries page to see the seven adjustments that we made. (Thats right 7. I bet you can only see six. OK, the seventh is a bit of a trick Ill explain on the gallery page).
| The FREEFALL CD is here ........ | |||
Those of you with a (very) good memory may remember, way back in May of 2001, we started work on a CD. 'Should be out in June' I recall somebody - who shall remain nameless - enthusiastically saying Well, we missed our June deadline, July just seemed to pass us by in a bit of a haze, and here we are now at the end of August, but the good news is that it is finished - completely!The main bulk of recording was scheduled to take place over a long weekend in May, but due to some bad luck (my guitar decided to commit suicide the first day of recording - cheers Stu for lending me yours!) and Uncle's busy schedule at the Betty Ford clinic, it was delayed by several weeks. The costs started to double, and then triple (mainly down to Uncle's 'running' costs!) and then when recording & mixing was finally finished, we had to get the thing copied! But now, thanks mainly to Mr Barclay Card, we are in possession of countless boxes of nice shinny CD's to sell to you - our fans! The track listing is as follows :-
The CD can be purchased at any one of our gigs, priced £10.

You'd be surprised what people forget at gigs. I mean, take Uncle for example - he forgets how most of the songs go until he actually starts playing them, and Stuart hasn't sung the right words to a song for about 2 years now ! And you lot are even worse. Over the years we have found many interesting items that have been left behind after a FREEFALL gig and, due to the amount of space they are taking up in Uncles wine cellar, we have decided to list them on the site so that the rightful owners can collect them, or buy them back from him at one of his annual 'wine cellar clear-outs'.
| |||
| If you can help reunite these items with there rightful owners, please do it without anything to do with us. We really have no interest whatsoever. In fact, forget the whole thing. | |||
